Situated in the heart of Cheshire in the picturesque and historical town of Knutsford, our second generation family business has evolved through the years as a Café and Sandwich Bar serving a wide range of traditional, contemporary, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free meals, ‘quick eats’, snacks and drinks to eat in or to takeaway. With our loyal and friendly team we look forward to welcoming you when you are next in the area.

Only Fresh Food

Wherever possible we buy local produce such as our fresh premium Cheshire pork sausages and eggs, our range of traybake cakes (those that we don’t make ourselves!), milk, fresh fruit and vegetables. Our daily range of soups are made with fresh ingredients primarily by our chef.

Eat In or Takeaway

Our Sandwich Bar provides all manner of food options to takeout: from breakfast sandwiches and breakfast in a box, cold sandwiches, panini, salad boxes, jacket potatoes, to soups, cakes and snacks. If you would prefer to sit in, our Cafe offers everything our Sandwich Bar provides and much more - whatever you fancy there is sure to be something that hits the spot.

Perfect breakfast! Lovely place
We had the nicest experience here on Thursday morning. All of the stuff are so friendly and welcoming! I had a lovely panini and my partner had a bap. The food all came fresh, tasty and was presented nicely! Definitely recommend here!
Gluten Free options and dog friendly
Visited on a Wednesday morning and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have gluten free options labeled on the menu which is a great help. Only wish I had was would if they did gluten free sausages and beans on the gluten free breakfast. They are also dog friendly which is amazing! Thanks for getting our little dog water and a treat, the little things like that are why we will come back.
Wonderful brunch
Our first visit to Cranford Café did not disappoint. Friendly staff, excellent service and dog friendly too! The breakfast I had was incredible, good sized portions, and excellent value, all locally sourced. We shall be returning. An excellent place to go after a long dog walk in Tatton.
Mothers day Afternoon tea
Had a fantastic afternoon tea from the Cranford Café today, the food very tasty and really well presented, my wife is a vegetarian with a nut allergy and she was catered for perfectly. Thank you to all the staff, great job. We will be back
